Pi Day, Saturday, 3-14-15 (3.1415...)

It's the Pi Day of the century! Read on to see why.

Right now, you are learning to measure and identify shapes.
Next year, you will learn to measure a circle using Pi.
The beginning digits of Pi are: 3.1415.
Actually, the number of digits of Pi are endless (infinite).
Notice how Pi's digits coincide with the date? 3.1415... (3-14-15) Neat, huh?
That's why this Pi day is called, "The Pi Day of the Century."
Every other year will be just 3.14...
You can still enjoy Pi Day and all of the activities that go along with it.
How many digits can you remember? Someone broke a record memorizing the most digits!
